West Ham V Birmingham

On Monday 13th February 2006, West Ham Utd play Birminham City at home in the English Premiership. Many factors point to this being a home win.

They have taken 19 points at home compared to Birmingham's 9 away.
West Ham have taken 16 points in the last 10 games, compared to 11 for Birmingham.
The Hammers already had a good scoring record before buying the excellent Dean Ashton.
The Blues have key players missing or doubtful, including Heskey, Johnson, Upson, Sutton, Izzett, Lazaridis and of course, David Dunn.

Reading V Southampton

The Friday evening game on 10th February is Reading V Southampton. Although they lost away to Birmingham in the FA Cup and struggled away to Crewe last weekend, a full strength Reading side would be a tough proposition for any Premiership side travelling to the Madejski stadium.

Southampton on the other hand are struggling. Although they now have the excellent manager George Burley, they are rebuilding, having released 12 players in January and brought in three new ones on loan. They also have injuries to key players like Pahars and Svensson.

With Reading having not lost a league game since the opening day, you can not see past a home win.

Soccer Predictions tips:
Result: Reading to win
Correct Score: 2-0 or 3-0

Chelsea V Liverpool

On Sunday 5th February, Chelsea play Liverpool at home in the Premiership. Apart from the thrashing at Anfield 4-1 to Chelsea, all the recent contests between these two have been extremely tight and betting wise, a draw would again be a good option.

Both teams drew their last matches 1-1 against lesser opposition and Chelsea look less of an attacking threat with no Drogba in the side, even though he doesnt score that many himself.

Soccer predictions tips:
Result: Draw
Correct Score: 1-1 or 1-0 Chelsea

West Ham V Fulham

West Ham United play at home to Fulham on Monday 23rd January in the English Premier League. Tomas Repka plays his last game for the Hammers, but they will not have new signing Dean Ashton in their line up just yet. Meanwhile the Cottagers have new arrival Wayne Bridge starting on loan from Arsenal.

Teddy Sheringham is back for West Ham and although Roy Carroll has a back problem, Shaka Hislop is a fine replacement. Matthew Etherington and Nigel Reo-Coker hope to be fit for the game.

Fulham should be without Claus Jensen, Mark Pembridge, Phillipe Christanval and possibly Steed Malbranque, while Papa Bouba Diop is on African Cup of Nations duty.

Fulham are poor away and have injuries. Although West Ham are not great at home, they should win it.

Prediction:
West Ham to win
Score 2-1
